Unwavering Wednesday

My cutie has the croup. :( :( :(

Not fun. We were up at 1 am and again for good at 6 am. A little fever with difficulty breathing makes for a crappy day. Or as Aubri would put it, "oh cwap." (I must stop saying that)

*A last weekend photo when the tide was low. We were suppose to be looking for cool sea shells, but Aubs was more interested in playing in the mud.

I took my miserable daughter to the doctor yesterday and noticed the following along the way...

I had no idea spring had sprung here already. Must pay attention more often. It's my favorite season! It also helps a cwappy day go good again. :)
We had to sing popcorn popping on the way home. One of Aubri's favorites.

Lots of crocuses everywhere as well... they are so pretty.

Manners

As much as I feel that my daughter has a "strong" personality, I feel very blessed to have a happy, sweet, and very polite daughter. The following just happened and I had to write it down (keep in mind she is just 2):

Aubriana came up to me (I was sitting on the couch) and said: "I need you mom."
Me: "Ok, come sit with me."
Us: Watching our favorite day time show Ellen.
Moments later I kissed Aubri on the head and said: "I love you bumble bee."
Aubriana: "I yuv u too mom."
Me: "Thanks bumble bee."
Aubriana: "Ur welcome mom."

Sometimes it kills me how polite she is. I have to stop and laugh a little to myself before responding.

If I'm cooking in the kitchen, Aubri comes over and starts dragging a chair to the counter and says, "I need to help u." I love her help too. She can stir up a storm or wash a dish really well if I'm working with something too hot.

If Tim burps out loud and says excuse me, Aubri responds with, "ur scused."

Yesterday she tooted during church... pretty stinky too I must add, and she looked at me and said, "mommy stinky?" and I said, "no, do you need to go potty?" and she said pretty loudly, "Aubriana tooted!" Haha! She is one of a kind and ALL mine! :)

---I can't post without pictures, so here are a few I've taken the past couple of weeks of my favorite subject---

* Aubri helping me make cookies, or rather, helping to eat them *
helping mom make cookies... or helping to eat them...

* she loved keeping an eye on them for me too, can't have burnt cookies *
watching carefully

* there are no words for this except, I love her! *
