A Girl Thing

Its been so fun watching Aubriana discover things that she loves, such as... being a mommy. I took Aubri to a playgroup in the beginning of December and she found a baby doll to play with. She was kissing on the doll and taking it over to one of the infant car seats and laying the doll in there and patting its back... it was the cutest thing I had ever seen! I hadn't even thought of her liking dolls yet and was concentrating more on getting the learning toys. So, of course, for Christmas we had to get her a doll. She did not want the doll to leave her sight until we went to Tim's family for New Years and was given TWIN baby dolls, that talk to eachother, from her Grandma. She is in baby doll heaven. She has enough dolls to tie her over for a few years... however, we were missing a stroller. I figured since she likes to push the shopping cart in the store, she would much enjoy pushing her baby in a stroller. Since we have had beautiful, spring like weather, the stroller has been put to good use!

Lynlee, here is a Merry Christmas sneak peak at a couple of your engagement shots. There are so so so many good ones that its taking some time, but I'll get them done... promise. I had a blast taking your engagement pictures, even though it was like 8 degrees outside, you guys stuck with me. You make such a cute couple and will have adorable babies someday! I LOVE you!

Our Little Reader...

Before, Aubriana would just sit and flip through the pages of her book. Now she sits and "reads" her books. It is so funny to hear her little blabbering. It makes me wonder what she thinks she is saying.

I normally have my camera on me so she didn't think anything of me video taping her. In fact, I think she thought she was reading to me. It takes everything in me not to laugh at her cuteness!

Aubriana is 1!

Our adorable, sweet Aubriana's 1st Birthday landed on Thanksgiving this year! I can't really believe she's 1, but then again, I can. Heavenly Father has blessed Tim and I more then we ever thought possible by bringing her to our family when he did. She has the sweetest personality! She loves giving away her smooches. She'll pucker up and then lean in for a big open mouth smooch! It's so sweet! She is now trying to imitate most things that we say. Lately she walks around saying Hi! in the sweetest voice with a big grin on her face. It's adorable! She likes to say hi to women in the store as well and of course they can't help but stop and talk to her.

We spent Thanksgiving in Washington with all of Tim's side of the family and when we were all singing her Happy Birthday, she plugged her ears! RUDE, I know!!! Thanks Lurlyn for capturing that on camera!

She had stuck her finger in the cake before we lit the candle and Tim helped her clean it off.

She also got her own little personal cake, courtesy of her Aunt Dana.

Yuuummm... cake good.

So much sugar... ah! Needless to say, she did not sleep very good that night with all that cake she had... or the fudge that her Uncle Pat kept sneaking for her! Ug!

Breckenridge

I just wanted to thank Lurlyn and Leif for giving us their Condo in Breckenridge, CO this past weekend. Thank you so much! It was so so so nice of them and wished they could have been there. The condo was really nice! The master suite had a huge jacuzzi tub and a two man shower in the bathroom. They had a heated pool where you could swim indoors or outdoors. They also had 2 huge hot tubs outside, 1 inside and a little kiddy pool that we took Aubriana in. It was very family friendly with an outdoor play area and an arcade inside. I say you guys book it again next year but after Thanksgiving when the snow is nice and fresh for snowboarding. Colorado has been a little slow at getting snow this year.

We invited our friends from our ward, Matt & Brindi and their two girls, Mayci (3 yrs old) and Kila (7 weeks old). It was fun for Aubri to play with Mayci and funny to see her so intested in the baby. Tim and Matt took the girls sledding. Aubriana loved it except when I came out there to take pictures. For some reason she cried when she saw me and wouldn't stop till I picked her up... go figure. I wish I had more time to get more pictures but it got dark really fast.

Tim has been so excited to take Aubriana sledding. He went out and bought this red sled for our little weekend trip. It paid off! :)

Winter!

Not much is going on with us besides that Aubriana got over her bacteria infection and then caught the flu virus. So our poor baby can't catch a break.

The weather here has been crazy as usual. We've had temperatures in the higher 70's and then we wake up to snow in the morning... back up to the 70's and now its starting to get really cold. Aubriana loves to go on walks outside so I love to take lots of pics of her. Sharing my favorite of them all below. She just gets more beautiful every day! I can't believe she will be a 1 year old next week!!! Time is flying by.
