We're having a.................[drum roll].......

BOY!!! (He is definitely not shy! ;))

We're very EXCITED!

Everything on the ultrasound looked great, which is always a huge relief! He even showed us some muscle!

Ultrasounds amaze me sometimes. We sat and watched his side profile and he would open and close his mouth a couple of times and you could even see his tongue. It was amazing. When the ultrasound-tech was looking at his spine, he looked like he was on all fours trying to run! Very cool!

Anyway, half of you were right! I think Tim owes me a $100 too. Hmmm... :)

Here's a couple of cute pics we got...

He's so cute!!! His name will be Timothy (no middle name yet) Jones...

Dear Aubriana,

You reached a huge toddler milestone! You are officially potty trained and ready to see the world! At least your dad & I are ready to show you the world without having to stop and change a diaper. It's so wonderful!

The first time you used the potty, you were so proud! We didn't even need to bribe you with candy, being your cheerleaders was good enough. Introducing your little personal potty was the best idea your dad had, however, he wanted to train you a lot sooner then I did. I wasn't quite sure if you were ready. But once we moved and got into our own house, you were ready.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't always smooth sailing...

You had to strip down completely naked every time you used the potty. Then it was a bear to try and get you to put your panties (or any clothes) on afterward. You thought you were finally free to roam naked. No no no.

Then there were a couple of times when you ran in to go potty on your own and when I walked by the bathroom to check on you, you were standing up over the potty, with your hand on your part and pee ALL over the floor around, not in your potty. Mom then had to scold your dad that if you saw him go potty standing up again, there was going to be some serious problems. We learned from our parenting mistakes and got past that one...

Then the day when we introduced clothes over the panties. Having to take all those things off was just too much for you. I think 4 accidents in 1 day was a little much for your mom.

But...

She didn't give up and the next day was great, except one accident when you were sleeping... OK... now we're getting somewhere right?

Then after a few days of me putting a diaper on you when I put you down for a nap and you screaming at me soon after to take you potty, I realized you were ready to wear your panties to bed again.

Its now been 2 weeks without any incidents!!! We couldn't be more pleased! You still have a little trouble figuring out how to put on your panties yourself and usually give up and run out of the bathroom with them on your head. I'll take that over accidents any day... unless we have visitors over, then its just not appropriate.

Potty Trained

Potty Trained so funny Potty trained and so adorable

Now all we have to do is teach you the difference between pee & poop. When you scream out you've gone Poo poo potty, well, mostly you've gone pee pee potty. But we're working on it. We love you bumble bee!!! Good job!

Love,
Mom & Dad

big Big BIG Update

WE MOVED!!! Are you surpised??? I know, your thinking whats new because we move alot, right? Well, this is very different. This is the beginning of the end of moving! YEAH!!! With lots and lots of prayers, Tim was able to get a job with a Utility company on Orcas Island. Yes, you heard me right, an Island. Who knew there were Island's in Washington?! A couple of weeks ago, Orcas Public Utility called Tim in for a 2nd Interview and Aubriana and I went with him. I needed to see what this Island was all about.

sorry, telling my story with pictures... should be use to it by now.

We drove our truck on a Ferry, and relaxed for an hour and we were there! Easier then I had imagined.

Anyway, Tim's interview went really well and they gave him the job!!! We were thrilled! It was an answer to our prayers. Thank you to all our family who included us in your prayers. Thank you!

We moved to the Island last weekend, right before Christmas. Thank you to the Huber family for all your help and putting up with us. Also to my sister-in-law Tammy, she is amazing for everything she did for us and I will miss her so much! Also our nephew's Cody & Ashton, thanks for helping Tim with your manly powers! :) I better move on, I'm feeling emotional.

Here is a little tour (using my photos of course) of our place we are renting and our fantastic view from our balconies. My family has been awaiting the pictures.

Now here is another cool thing... we live a mile from the 4th largest state park in Washington. Moran State Park. It's simply a breath taking drive through and at the top is Mt. Constitution, a tower, where you can see all the way around the island, all the other islands, and CANADA! We are not far from Canada. To all the Twilight fans, you can see Vancouver, Canada where Twilight is filmed. Vancouver is also where the winter Olympics will be next year, so come visit me!!! :)

we got to Mt. Constitution almost at sunset, so my pics are dark...

Just a little news...

We are expecting another baby!!! I'll try to answer any questions you have... lets see... I'm almost 17 weeks along. Oh, we are due JUNE 13th. Right before Tim and I's 10th Anniversary. I've always wanted to have a June baby :) Yeah for sharing birthday months! I don't care if its a boy or a girl, but we find out in January. We'll keep you posted. I have a feeling that its another girl, but Tim is still unsure. He would really like to have a boy to name after himself... cause he loves his name so much, LOL! If it is a girl, I might be stuck with her name being Timberly, J/K! haha! I think thats it. It came as a bit of a surprise when we found out, but we are very excited!

Just a cute picture of my adorable 2 year old :)

And this is better late then never, right?!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Ours was very memorable this year! :) Also, if you're ever in the Seattle area, or in Washington at all, or you want to just come and visit us, please do! We're only a Ferry ride away.

I can't resist sharing...

During Thanksgiving we went to an awesome place called, Ensign Ranch. It's owned by the LDS church. Beautiful place. The lodge was perfect for the size of our family and so was the kitchen. They had gadgets to use to make food for GIANT people. We cranked out the food too! It was a good thanksgiving dinner. Going to see "New Moon" after was a pumpkin pie treat as well.

Tim's older sister Dana was there with her big family and her new little grand baby, Taygen. She's a pretty little baby but not a happy camper. I took some pictures for them of her and got quite a few winners, but the following two were by far my favorite. :)

all clean!

You can't have a happy baby all the time. It's just not reality people!
so sad!

Birthday Girl!

DSC_0293 copy

Aubriana just turned 2 today! We started off the day singing the birthday song, and she was eating it up. All this attention is great!

I can't believe how much she is rapidly changing. She says very funny things all the time, and is genuinely sweet when she wants to be. Tim has called her "bumble bee" ever since she was in my belly, and now when he calls her bumble bee, she quickly corrects him and says, "I'm Aubriana." She has moved on from calling us mommy and daddy to mom and dad. I didn't think that happened until she became a teenager :(. One other thing she says that really makes me laugh is when she is being really silly she follows me around giggling and saying, "I'm funny mommy, Aubriana's funny!"

She really makes us happy and we are so blessed to have her sweet spirit in our home. We love you, Aubriana!

Love,
Mom & Dad :)

I'll post more pictures of her birthday tomorrow after she has her cute cake. I had to post a couple of pictures I took of her this morning. They were too cute!

This post may seem silly, what can I say...

Ok, as a Dyson vacuum owner, I'm already a huge fan of their product and think the inventor is a pure genius. I'm an even bigger fan now that I've tried the Dyson hand dryer.

I'm not one to use public bathrooms but my hubby and I were out of town this past weekend in Kennewick, WA, hanging out for some us time, and I was left with no choice. I was ok with it because it was a Costco bathroom. Another huge bonus to Costco for investing in the Dyson dryer in their bathrooms. Costco rocks! :)

Have you used one of these Dyson hand dryers?!!! AMAZING! My hands were dry in seconds. Those other hand dryers are a big pet peeve. I never even bother and just wipe hands on pants if there are no paper towels handy. How do we get more of these in public restrooms??? When I was leaving the bathroom, I was overhearing some teenagers telling their friend they had to go in the bathroom and try the dryer. I wish I could afford one in my bathroom.

Ok. I'm done raving about this product. I'm going outside now. :)

Our Little Monster...

First off, I have to say I was a bit nervous for Halloween this year. I bought Aubriana's costume a month in advance and since then I haven't been able to get her to keep it on for more than 2 seconds. She'd rip it right off. So, we decided to start by coaxing her. Her daddy was more than willing to help, and even did a little monster growling to show her how.

After her dadda so graciously showed her how it was done, she was more than willing to wear her costume... whew! She even did a few growls and showed her monster teeth.

Halloween was fun this year. There was a bit of a wind storm all day, but thank goodness Aubri's costume was warm. We went to our ward trunk or treat and Aubriana's cousin Madeline took her around to each trunk for candy. She waved at people and charmed them for lots of suckers. They even served hot dogs and hot chocolate. It was a lot of fun.

Aubri and her little buddy Briley occupied themselves running up the hill and back down and crashing at the bottom. It was pretty funny. They would check on eachother after they fell down.
