Family Visits!

Aubriana and I were lucky enough to have Lurlyn and little Leify come and play while Tim went Jeepin' in Moab with his Dad and brother Pat. It is so fun to watch the two kiddo's, who are only 6 weeks apart, interact with each other. Who knew that Aubriana was going to be really stingy with her toys already?!!! Yeah, she cried when Leify would crawl next to her or even look at her sideways if she had a toy in her hand. It was pretty funny at first but then I started to feel bad. Good thing Leify is so easy going (Isn't he ADORABLE! His eyes can melt you!).

We had fun even though it was scorching HOT! We took the the kids to The Gateway (an outside shopping place here in Salt Lake City), The Hogle Zoo, swimming, and we dragged them to craft stores of course! Below are some fun photo's I took...

Definitely not happy!

I'm outta here!

strollers are much more interesting!

Mom, baby, baby, mom! This baby giraffe was born on Nov 28th, a day after Aubriana. Thought that was pretty cool! I LOVE Giraffe's... they're so fascinating. I know I'm weird.

Can't forget the animals... bear, giraffe, ghost of the zoo and elephant.

I turn my back for 2 seconds and...

I don't know if she even got most of it in her mouth, but she sure likes blue berry muffins, my blue berry muffin... the little stinker!

Past Week In Photo's

This past week has been pretty busy in a good way. Tim is still working on his Jeep, getting it ready for Moab this weekend. I'll post photo's of that later. We received a visit from Tim's long time friend, Jason, including his wife with their 4 cute kids. They actually have a 4 month old little girl who Aubriana thought was fun to pick on. She was trying to smack her face and poke eyes and all... Had to keep my eyes on her the whole time. Aubriana loves little kids so she had fun while they were here. We took their kids to the pool and they had a blast! It was so fun to see them.

My friend Cindy came down and hung out with us for a day. I made her dinner... meatloaf, corn on the cob, and my first potato salad... I know I know... its sad. It's so time consuming but WAY worth it for the summer. I was actually craving my sister-in-law, Dana's, potato salad but she was gone to girls camp and I unfortunately had to find my recipe off of allrecipes.com. It was still pretty good and it gave me tips on how to cook the potato's and stuff. Not bad for my first time. Cindy and I took Aubriana swimming and after we all had dinner she babysat Aubriana while Tim and I went to watch the movie, "Hancock". It was really good incase you are wondering. We wanted to see the new Batman movie but it was completely sold out. Aubriana was pretty good for her first time being babysat by someone other then family. It was so fun to come home to her squealing and giggling as soon as she saw us come through the door. She definitely knows who her parents are ;)

We also hung out with Corby and Aspen and their little boy Draven, our old neighbors. They are expecting another boy at the end of November and it's always fun to see them. We are so lucky to have so many good friends.

This week will be just as busy but I'll try to update my blog when I can. We are getting very excited! While Tim, his Dad & Brother go to Moab this weekend, Aubriana and I get to play with Lurlyn and Leify. They are flying in Thursday and we can hardly wait!

Fun, Crazy & Tired

This past week has been a little on the busy side to say the least. Tim came home from work last Wednesday to announce that we were once again needing to move... where? Utah of course. Right back to where we came from and only stayed for two weeks before we had to head to Wyoming. Please, don't ask me how long we will be in Utah this time. I have no idea... These past few months have been crazy and am so thankful we have our 5th wheel. In the meantime, Tim received his lift kit for his Jeep earlier in the week and decided it would be more convenient to put the kit on there before we left. He pretty much had the lift kit on and had to cut off an old part to prepare for the new one. Little did he know, the part in the kit was the WRONG one. Grrr! This was Saturday that this had happened, and our luck, we couldn't get a hold of the company, or anyone else for that matter, to get the part. This wasn't good because we couldn't tow the Jeep without it. Tim needed to report to work on Monday and in the end we had to call his boss and let them know we were delayed a couple of days due to car trouble. Luckily, after Tim was on the phone for a good 3 hours Monday, calling all sorts of companies, he was able to locate the part and have it delivered overnight to us.

Monday I felt terrible. My body was achy and I had chills (fever) and one of my tonsils was swollen up with white spots, which made it painful to swallow. After researching it on Web MD and heading to the doc, I discovered that I had tonsillitis. I was so worried because I knew we needed to head out soon and I didn't want to feel horrible. Luckily IB profin helped and I was feeling better by Tuesday. The part for the Jeep came around 4 pm and we were able to leave by about 8:30pm, which put us into Utah Wednesday morning at 5:30 am. Just in time for Tim to head to work around 6:30. We feel so blessed with safety in our traveling and that we are able to get through obstacles thrown in our way.

Before we left, we were able to forget all the worries and have a fun day on the 4th. Worland puts on this big show and then they have the fireworks after. So we hung out and enjoyed the entertainment. Aubriana had a freaked out look on her face when the fireworks first started, not sure of the loud sounds but then she relaxed... a little too much. She fell right to sleep. It was way past her bedtime though so... oh well. A couple of pics from our fun day below (better late then never).

Enjoying the fireworks for a minute....

then out completely, no loud sounds could shake this sleep. Tim put his hands over her ears to make it a little better on the noise.

Toothy Grin

Had to show the first picture I was able to get with bumble bee's teeth showing. I think they are so cute!

Kids Do The Darndest Things

It is so funny to watch all the funny little things Aubriana seems to do. Ever since her two bottom teeth came in, she has been sucking on her upper lip. It seriously cracks me up. She looks hillarious when she does it. I have no idea why she does it, but she seems to be entertained for a while.

Now that she is crawling, she has mastered sitting up. She'll sit somewhere on the floor for a very long time just slapping her arms on her legs. She just seems to be happy doing simple things. I love watching her personality come out and had to share a little of it.
