Colorado Trip

This weekend Tim had class in Colorado Springs so we took advantage of traveling once again and doing some fun things. We took Aubriana for a swim for the first time. The pool was unfortunately really cold and the hot tub was fortunately luke warm. So, we hung out with her in the hot tub. Don't worry, it wasn't hot ;) At first she wasn't too sure, but got the hang of it and figured out how to get her legs to float up. She also enjoyed splashing the water in our faces. She didn't, however, care too much for the floaty because I don't think she felt secure. She'll like it someday.

We also went on a drive through Garden of the Gods. Tim and I have driven through it before but we actually got out this time and explored a little. Below are some pics from our trip.

New Site

I've created a separate blog for myself that is displaying all my digital hobbies. This site will still remain my family site and will update regularly.

I figure this new site will keep me going on my hobbies all the more. At least enough so I have stuff to post. Being an at home mom has allowed me to explore on these hobbies and I'm just having way too much fun! :)

You can see it here: Whats the {digi'o!} (don't make fun of the name, it took me forever to come up with something... haha!)

She's On The Move!

Aubriana has been attempting crawling for some time. Last Friday at my mom's she started using her hands a little, now she is full on crawling. She loves to crawl where ever Minnie is and Minnie is everywhere but near her. She'll crawl into the dog bed and we got a few pictures of her trying to climb herself into her bouncy seat. It was pretty funny. It's also pretty exciting when I hold my hand out for her to crawl to me and she does so enthusiastically! So cute! My job has officially gotten harder but its so much fun.

She now has her two bottom teeth. I can't quite get a picture of that though. Everytime I try to look she sticks her tongue out.

Tim and I are just excited to see all the changes she makes, but it seems so quick. Trying to enjoy her small as much as we can. We love her to pieces!

Tim and I had a fantastic weekend together! We went to Idaho Falls (where we were engaged) and stayed at the Destination's Inn my mom told me about. It was perfect! We stayed in the Paris room and were surprised at how cool it was in person. The room even came with a Projector screen TV. Tim and I went shopping at the mall for a few hours before check in and just loved the alone time together. It was so hard to realize that Aubriana wasn't with us. She did very good for her first sleep over at Grandma's. My sisters helped out a ton too and made it so we didn't have to worry. Thank you thank you thank you!

After we checked out of our room we went over to the falls and took some pictures and then ate at Brownstone, where we use to eat all the time dating. They have the best Monte Cristo sandwhich! Afterwards we went and saw a movie, The Incredible Hulk, and shopped at Target to get Aubriana some things. Overall, it was an AWESOME weekend!

I just want to say to Tim, I love you! Thanks for being my Best Friend and for putting up with my quirks. I fall more and more in love with you every day. You love me and support me and always want me to be happy. You still get my car door for me everytime we go somewhere and I still get flowers for no reason at all. You are my everything! I love you!

Yellowstone Fun!

This past weekend we went to Idaho Falls to celebrate our Anniversary. The main reason was to have my mom watch Aubriana for a night so Tim and I can have some time together that we haven't had since she arrived. It was so nice to be able to have that time together, however, we did miss the babe a ton! Anyway, our trip took us through Yellowstone, so we bought a season pass since we live so close to it right now. We decided that we were going to spend most of Sunday in Yellowstone on our way back to Wyoming. Made for a great Father's Day for Tim. Since it was his first "official" Father's Day, we had to make it special!

We had a blast! We saw soooooooo many animals, including a Grizzly Bear and her two cubs. Oh wow! That was the highlight of the day. We saw all these cars pulled over on the side of the road and I told Tim if it was a bear it would so make my day, and low and behold it was 3! It was fun to watch them scratch in the grass. Not sure what they were doing... maybe trying to find bugs or something? We also saw 2 different Moose, lots of buffalo, and almost hit a deer on our way out.

Hope you enjoy the slide show of some of my favorite pictures from our fun day.

CRAZY'S

Today was CRAZY! I left the 5th wheel to take out the trash and get an envelope from the truck and there was some lady in the trees starring at me! AH! It freaked me out but I thought she lived on the property over the fence and maybe was looking for a ball or something. Anyway, I went back inside and got Aubriana in her car seat to go to the Post Office and when I opened the door, I saw her fall backwards out of the bushes and hit the ground. I was laughing to myself while watching her crawl into the ditch. I thought something was wrong with her, she is not right upstairs. So I got into the truck and saw her still just sitting there. I drove over by her and yelled out at her.. "excuse me! Ma'am! Hello!" She didn't even turn around or anything so my thought was she was wasted! I drove over to the owners who were out and about and told them about her and they called the cops. When I got back from the Post Office the cops were putting her in their car. The lady that owns this place said the cops told her she is the town drunk and hasn't been sober in a whole year. So sad but rather amusing. LOL!

Outside Fun!

This past week has been a learning experience. We tried taking Aubriana to see Indiana Jones (considering we know no one to watch her) and it didn't quite work out like it has in the past. First of all, when they get old enough to wiggle about, they don't want to sit still. She watched the movie for about an hour and then decided to be loud and grumpy. We just have to wait for it to come out on video. She's too cute to worry about missin movies.

We have seen a few of the sites around here. Well, actually just out where Tim is working. I caught some pictures of cows butting heads and calfs running, and bunnies. It was fun, but stinky cause Tim works out where all the oil pumps are and that is some toxic stuff.

Saturday, Tim was working on the truck/jeep. He's so good about keeping our vehicles working properly. I love it! Anyway, Aubriana was very interested in what Tim was doing... ok, she was interested in the red cap, but Tim tried to tell her about it anyways and I thought it made a cute photo moment. We actually played a bit outside and just had some fun. We even decided to go try out another restaurant around here. Aubri is very good when we go eat. She tried some mashed potatoes while Tim and I ate our steaks. The food is very very good, but the service could use some help. :)

What a Chore!

Shaving a dog is no easy task, however, Minnie is very cooperative so it makes it not too bad. I decided that she needed to come back out from under the rug and make her presence known. She acts like a princess after her hair cut. She especially has to show off for Tim. Its very funny! I am happy to have her looking more like a Miniature Schnauzer dog now. Now if we can only fix her bad breath! ugh!

On The Road Again

I know what you are thinking... didn't they just move to Salt Lake? Yes, yes we did. We were there a whole 2 weeks when the company Tim is working for told him Thursday that they need him to work with some crews on a new job up in Wyoming. We were thinking what the crap!? But we must go. Duty calls. Honestly (trying to look at the bright side of things) I feel blessed to be able to experience different places and meet new people. Aubriana will be able to brag when she's older that she lived in 4 (maybe more) different states before she was 1 years old. I think that's pretty cool! Anyway, we gladly let the wind blow through our hair (or minnies) on our way to Worland, Wyoming.

Worland is north central Wyoming. Pretty close to Yellowstone. Can't complain there. It's actually very pretty here. Lots of green. I was expecting it to be like the other part of Wyoming that most people see, which is miles and miles of nothing.

Update on Aubriana... she's officially 6 months and is moving like a crazy girl! Ah! I think she will be crawling any day now. She is up on all 4's and wobbling away to grab something. I usually give her an incentive, like a bottle or calculator (her new favorite) and she tries very hard to get to it. Usually she just throws herself forward. All this moving she does makes diaper changing a chore. She squeals at me like I'm keeping her from something and rolls over getting into crawling position. Its humorous cause babies butts are so cute. Trying to get her to sleep has changed as well. She has this burst of energy while rubbing her eyes and puts up a huge fight to go to sleep. I'm keeping her with her nap time routines, so hopefully it will pass. She is my buddy all day and I love it!

It was nice being back in Utah for at least 2 weeks. We got to spend time with our friends, Corby & Aspen and their little boy Draven (my boyfriend). We're pretty sure that we'll be back to Utah once this Wyoming job ends. Tim was so nice to tend Aubriana on Saturday so my girlfriends: Cindy, Maryn and Marla could take me out for my early birthday. They took me to DSW Shoes, Dinner at Cheesecake Factory (my fav) and a comedy show at Wiseguys. It was such a fun day and I'm glad I got to spend some time with them before I left.
